Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the Royal Guard Commander's Parade as part of ongoing monitoring of readiness and discipline levels. The parade was attended by Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Operations, Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Noaimi, Deputy Royal Guard Commander, senior officers, non-commissioned officers and Royal Guard members. The parade was held at the Square of Fallen Serviceman Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al-Noaimi in Al Rawdha Camp, where the Royal Guard Commander's Parade is held twice a year as part of comprehensive follow-up plans. At the beginning of the event, the Commander's Salute was played, then the parade commander requested permission from His Highness the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander to inspect the parade, during which His Highness reviewed the level of readiness and discipline, then the military parade began, reflecting the high level of competence of the Royal Guard members. His Highness affirmed that the continuous development witnessed by the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force is thanks to Allah the Almighty, and the royal support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. His Highness also praised the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, and the guidance of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, which contributed to a qualitative shift in the level of military training and qualification, thereby enhancing military capabilities and raising field and administrative efficiency. His Highness praised the high level of military discipline and dedication to duty shown by the Royal Guard members. His Highness emphasised that the coming phase requires continued effort and dedication and responsibility, in line with the leadership's aspirations and enhancing the efficiency and readiness of the Royal Guard in various circumstances. His Highness wished the Royal Guard members continued success in their duties. His Highness the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander also inspected the preparations of one of the Royal Guard battalions, within the framework of monitoring their readiness to participate in the combat efficiency test with the Bahrain Defence Force.more
Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, affirmed that Commemoration Day is a national occasion of lasting significance that embodies the highest values of sacrifice, commemorating the heroism of Bahrain's fallen servicemen who sacrificed their lives in defence of their country, its leadership and its people. His Highness noted that their sacrifices will remain a source of pride and a guide for future generations. This came during His Highness's attendance at the Commemoration Day ceremony, in the presence of Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Royal Guard's Special Operations, senior officers, non-commissioned officers, members of the Royal Guard, and a number of BDF officers. His Highness explained that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, with the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, provides support to the families of fallen servicemen, affirming the established approach of appreciating their sacrifices and protecting the rights of their families, which embodies the values of loyalty and gratitude for the fallen servicemen's heroism for their sake of their nation's dignity, security and stability. His Highness added that the great sacrifices made by Bahrain's fallen servicemen will remain present in the conscience of the nation, and a testament to their courage, bravery and dedication in performing their national duty, affirming that the men of Bahrain in various military and security sectors are continuing on the same path, with unwavering determination and strong will, to protect the nation and defend its achievements in all circumstances. During the meeting, His Highness affirmed the importance of the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, stressing the need to continue developing bilateral cooperation in various fields to achieve common interests and support security and stability in the region. They also discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, and reviewed regional and international developments, in addition to opportunities for enhancing cooperation in various fields in the coming period. For their part, the delegation expressed their appreciation for the strength of relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming their keenness to enhance joint coordination and support efforts aimed at expanding cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both sides.more

His Highness expressed his appreciation for the continued support provided by Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Special Operations of the Royal Guard, for the success of the programme's second edition. His Highness affirmed that this support has contributed to establishing ‘Gadeha’ as a leading national platform that highlights and empowers young talent in various fields and promotes the values of teamwork, commitment and discipline. His Highness also affirmed that the programme's widespread success and positive reception both inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain was the result of integrated and concerted efforts. His Highness praised the participants' spirit of challenge, determination and perseverance, which honed their skills through practical, real-life experiences in the military field. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau, within the framework of the mutual keenness to continue developing the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad affirmed the strategic importance of the Bahraini-US relations and their continuous development in various fields. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received a delegation from the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Parliamentary Assembly, led by Lord Lancaster, Member of the UK's House of Lords and Chair of the Assembly’s Defence and Security Committee. At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness affirmed the depth of the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and NATO, and the importance of strengthening strategic partnerships with friendly countries and international organizations, to support joint efforts aimed at enhancing regional and international security and establishing stability and peace in the region. During the meeting, they reviewed and discussed regional and international developments, exchanged views on recent developments, and affirmed the need to intensify joint efforts to end ongoing regional and international conflicts and ensure the preservation of global security and stability. On Nov. 1, representatives from the Kingdom of Bahrain, United Kingdom, and United States convened the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) - Defence Working Group (DWG) annual meeting hosted in Bahrain. The meeting was attended by HH Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Defence of the Kingdom of Bahrain; Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom; and Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command. DWG members welcomed the United Kingdom’s accession to C-SIPA as advancing collective security efforts, noting that the UK’s expertise and long-standing commitment to regional and global stability significantly reinforce the strategic objectives of the Agreement. Participants reiterated their commitment to treat any external aggression against the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of any of the parties as a matter of grave concern under Article II of the agreement. They also expressed the importance of working together against hostile actors and malign activities that threaten regional security and international stability. The discussions underscored C-SIPA’s role as a distinguished platform for advancing collective security and regional deterrence.more
Based on Royal Decree (30) of 2024 transferring the affiliation of the National Cybersecurity Centre to the Supreme Defence Council, and Royal Decree (17) of 2025 concerning the centre, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, issued Decision (2) of 2025 appointing directors at the National Cybersecurity Centre, following the recommendation of the centre’s Chief Executive Officer. According to the decision, the following appointments were made: Ahmed Isa Ahmed Abulfateh, Director of the National Response Directorate. Ali Mohammed Ahmed Al Zayani, Director of the Cyber Defence Directorate. Shaikha Manar bint Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the Systems Development and Artificial Intelligence Directorate. Yousef Mohamed Ali Muthanna, Director of the Cyber Governance Directorate. Salman Duaij Khalifa Al Yasi, Director of the Information Systems Operations Directorate. Noof Juma Rashid Al Jowder, Director of the Resources and Services Directorate. Jawaher Jasim Mohamed Al Khaja, Director of the Cyber Awareness and Training Directorate. Budoor Ahmed Ali Al Kuwari, Director of the Follow-up and Coordination Directorate. The Chief Executive Officer of the National Cybersecurity Centre shall implement the provisions of this decision, which takes effect from the date of issuance.more
Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the opening of the Al-Rawdha Camp roundabout, in the presence of Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Guard, Brigadier General Khalid Mohammed Al-Dosari, Chief of the Administration Division at the Royal Guard and General Supervisor of the design of the Al-Rawdha Camp Roundabout, a number of senior officers, non-commissioned officers, and members of the Royal Guard. The roundabout features a monument commemorating the achievement of the Royal Guard members, in reaching the summit of Mount Everest. The ceremony was attended by these champions. His Highness affirmed that this monument stands as a testament to the bravery and determination of the Royal Guard, who raised the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the highest peak in the world, adding that it also embodies the determination of the people of Bahrain, thanks to the support they receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Highness explained that this achievement will remain a shining example in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain, adding that it is not merely a sporting achievement, but a national message that embodies the spirit of teamwork, solidarity and the unwavering determination of the Bahraini people. His Highness noted that the monument is a lasting symbol for future generations. His Highness received artist Khalil Al Madhoun, President of the Bahrain Contemporary Art Association, the designer of the monument. During the meeting, His Highness commended his remarkable efforts in highlighting the achievements of the Royal Guard and wished him continued success. At the end of the meeting, His Highness was presented with a commemorative gift by Brigadier General Khalid Mohammed Al Dosari, also designed by artist Khalil Al Madhoun.more

His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States have historical relations and a distinguished strategic partnership, which spans decades of joint cooperation and coordination to serve common goals and interests. His Highness praised the efforts exerted by the US Ambassador in enhancing and developing relations between the two countries. During the meeting, His Highness reviewed with the US Ambassador a number of topics of common interest.more
