On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, and Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Operations, were at the forefront to bid farewell to His Highness Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, as he departed the Kingdom following his attendance at the “Bahrain Shield” joint exercise, which was held with the participation of the armed forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

Also present were a number of senior officials, officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel of the Royal Guard, as well as a number of officers from the Bahrain Defence Force.
