Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, in the presence of Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Operation, received Lieutenant General Joseph Clearfield, Commander of the United States Marine Forces Central Command.

The meeting was also attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Stephanie Lynn Hallett, US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his pride in the long-standing ties of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, which have spanned many decades and are based on close cooperation and joint action in all fields. His Highness noted the importance of continuing to build on the strategic agreements and partnerships that have been achieved, the most recent of which is the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), in a manner that serves mutual interests and benefits all.

The meeting discussed the latest regional and international developments, and highlighted the importance of continuing coordination and joint consultation to support regional and international peace and stability.
