His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, affirmed that the royal patronage enjoyed by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Foundation, is the cornerstone for developing and enhancing humanitarian work within the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad, which provides a dignified and stable life for the children and mothers of the Foundation. His Highness pointed out that the pioneering humanitarian approach led by His Majesty the King towards brotherly and friendly countries and peoples embodies the firm stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leadership, government, and people, in supporting humanitarian work based on shared humanitarian values and fraternal ties. His Highness also praised the support the Royal Humanitarian Foundation receives from the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister which enabled the Foundation to carry out its humanitarian mission and achieve its noble goals. This came as His Highness chaired a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, attended by members of the Board of Trustees. The fifth edition of the Sovereign Art Foundation Charity Award closing ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.
The event was organised by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) in partnership with the Sovereign Art Foundation. It raised approximately BHD 686,210 to support the RHF’s educational and health programmes.
HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s continued support for charitable work reflects a deep commitment to protecting vulnerable groups and promoting dignity and social welfare.
HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the role of such initiatives in fostering a culture of giving and strengthening social cohesion in Bahrain and abroad.
The event featured an exhibition and charity auction of student artworks, with proceeds directed to RHF’s educational and health programmes. His Highness emphasised the importance of integrating charitable values into youth education and praised the creativity and civic spirit expressed through the students’ artistic contributions.
His Highness also emphasised the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting humanitarian projects within the national agenda.

The Kingdom of Bahrain has opened the door for donations in support of quake-hit people in Turkey and Syria. The donations drive follows directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, said HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Board of Trustees’ Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. HM the King had issued directives to provide urgent humanitarian relief aid for Turkey and Syria, following the devastating earthquake, which left thousands of dead people and caused massive destruction. The drive also followed an appeal by citizens and residents to support quake-hit people and help alleviate their suffering and contribute to Bahrain’s national efforts to implement the royal directives. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King, (RHF) Honorary Chairman, hailing royal humanitarian initiatives in support of disaster-stricken and needy people worldwide. He commended the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, hailing its unwavering support. Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, praised the steps of Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, to raise BD 1.5 million as a capital increase in partnership with 30 investors from the private sector. He stressed the importance of integrating roles between Hope Ventures and the private sector in order to launch and adopt many future quality initiatives and creative projects to develop a supportive and stimulating investment environment for young entrepreneurs in the Kingdom. He noted that this is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the vision of the esteemed government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Bahrain’s vision 2030. His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa directed the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RFH) to assess claims and disburse aid accordingly. HH Shaikh Nasser extended deepest thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the honorary president of the foundation, for his royal care in times of adversity. HH Shaikh Nasser, also RHF board of trustees’ chairman, also commended the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. RHF Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayyed also paid tribute to HM the King, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the humanitarian gesture.
