Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, directed to launch the second edition of the TV programme ‘Qadha’ (You Can Do It) on ‘Shahid’ platform for free, with 10 episodes starting from November 13th. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the programme is one of the initiatives that aim to instill the values of loyalty, military training, self-discipline, teamwork and spirit of initiative in Bahraini youth, as they are the cornerstone of progress and construction. His Highness pointed out that the second edition is more challenging and in-depth, as it includes intensive field experiences that enables young people to discover their true abilities, and teaches them patience, endurance, facing difficulties, creativity, challenge and leadership, to be able to face challenges and build the country's future with confidence and competence. His Highness added that the launch of this new edition is in line with the national approach to prepare a strong-willed Bahraini generation capable of facing various circumstances and ready to effectively shape the future of the nation. His Highness emphasised that the programme will offer advanced field experiences to develop mental and physical strength and highlight young role models capable of overcoming exceptional circumstances. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SYCS), affirmed that Bahrain’s hosting of the 2027 Arab Games reflects the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to establish the Kingdom as a key venue for major regional and international sporting events. HH Shaikh Nasser noted that this milestone highlights the tireless efforts His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, whose leadership has been instrumental in elevating Bahrain’s sporting profile. HH Shaikh Nasser commended HH Shaikh Khalid’s achievements in successfully hosting major international competitions and his innovative initiatives that continue to drive the growth of Bahrain’s sports and youth sectors. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, delegated Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, to inaugurate the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025), which is being held this year in strategic partnership with DEF CON for the first time in the region, and will continue until November 6th, 2025 at Exhibition World Bahrain. The opening ceremony was attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of the National Cyber Security Centre, and a number of ministers and senior officials. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain's hosting of this year's conference and its strategic partnership with DEF CON, one of the most prominent conferences specialising in cybersecurity, represent a qualitative step that reflects international confidence in the position that the Kingdom of Bahrain has come to occupy as a leading centre in this vital sector at the regional and international levels. His Highness said that the conference is a strategic platform that brings together a select group of experts and decision-makers from around the world to exchange knowledge and experiences, and review the latest experiences and technologies in cybersecurity, thereby strengthening regional and international cooperation, supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain's digital development, and consolidating its position as a leading destination in building an advanced cyber system that enhances global digital security and stability. His Highness added: "The conference is an important opportunity to support the efforts of the National Cyber Security Centre towards building a secure digital and cyber environment, empowering national talent, and raising cyber readiness, through the organisation of technical workshops and specialised training programmes in collaboration with a select group of international institutions and companies." His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, received student Mohammed Jassim Mubarak from Ahlia Private School, in recognition of his impressive achievement in winning second place in the ninth Arab Reading Challenge, which saw the participation of more than 32 million students from 50 Arab and international countries. During the meeting, His Highness affirmed that the success of Mohammed Jassim Mubarak reflects the advanced level of Bahraini students and the support they receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which keeps the Kingdom's journey of excellence and educational leadership moving forward at a rapid pace. His Highness said that this outstanding achievement confirms the cognitive and creative abilities of the people of Bahrain, which qualify them to excel in the largest regional and international forums. The facility includes state-of-the-art spaces such as a sports centre, a media centre, a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) centre, a lecture hall, a sound room, a cinema, an arts space, a library and modern training rooms. The headquarters is designed to support youth development in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital skills, and sports innovation. INJAZ Bahrain has inspired and prepared more than 1.1 million students through more than 30 programmes focused on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.more
Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the 26th Island Classic Charity Golf Tournament, organised by the American Mission Hospital at the Royal Golf Club, has concluded. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated with the Victorious team on the third day of the tournament, while participating with the Safriya team on the second day. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that His Majesty the King's patronage of the tournament confirms His Majesty's continued support for Bahraini sport in general and golf in particular, which is steadily progressing towards further development and prosperity. His Highness praised the organisational level of the tournament since it began, noting that the wide participation reflects support for charitable and humanitarian initiatives that benefit society, commending the participants’ performance and the outstanding technical level of the tournament. The tournament witnessed wide participation from teams and players from various bodies, amid strong competition and advanced technical skill, reflecting the development of golf in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Victorious team, consisting of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Mike Lorenzo, Mahdi Tadaoui and Soufiane Tadaoui, won first place in the Championship Flight, with a total of 46.2 points. Second place went to the Ministry of Interior team with a total of 48.7 points, and third place went to the Mohammed Jalal team (2) with 51.3 points. First place in the Premier Flight went to the Safriya team, consisting of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Mohammed Mousallam, Soufiane Tadaoui and Mahdi Tadaoui with a total of 47.1 points. Second place went to the Jakers team with a total of 47.4 points, and third place went to the VGA team with a total of 49.3 points.more
His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of security between the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the National Security Council of Cyprus, within the framework of the 21st Regional Security Summit ‘Manama Dialogue 2025’. At the signing of the MoU, the Cypriot side was represented by Tassos Tsezonis, National Security Advisor and Director of the Intelligence Service of Cyprus, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the signing of the MoU is part of Bahrain's vision to expand its international partnerships in the field of security, noting that the MoU is a strategic step that enhances security cooperation with Cyprus, contributes to the development of security networks, and supports joint preparations to face regional and global challenges, thereby serving the security and stability of the two countries and the region. His Highness added that the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus have witnessed continuous growth in various fields, and this partnership reflects mutual trust and a keenness to develop effective cooperation in light of global changes, foremost among which are security and economic aspects. The memorandum includes cooperation in the exchange of security information and expertise, training and continuous coordination between the two sides, and supports the two countries' efforts to consolidate regional and international security and stability, in addition to holding bilateral meetings and addressing future common security challenges in a manner that enhances the efficiency of security work and upgrades the strategic structures in both countries. His Highness and Tsezonis discussed a number of topics of mutual interest and reviewed the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus.more
On Nov. 1, representatives from the Kingdom of Bahrain, United Kingdom, and United States convened the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) - Defence Working Group (DWG) annual meeting hosted in Bahrain. The meeting was attended by HH Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Defence of the Kingdom of Bahrain; Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom; and Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command. DWG members welcomed the United Kingdom’s accession to C-SIPA as advancing collective security efforts, noting that the UK’s expertise and long-standing commitment to regional and global stability significantly reinforce the strategic objectives of the Agreement. Participants reiterated their commitment to treat any external aggression against the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of any of the parties as a matter of grave concern under Article II of the agreement. They also expressed the importance of working together against hostile actors and malign activities that threaten regional security and international stability. The discussions underscored C-SIPA’s role as a distinguished platform for advancing collective security and regional deterrence.more

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and member of The King's Trust International, attended the tenth anniversary celebration of the Trust in the presence of His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, founder of the Trust. During the celebration, His Highness met with His Majesty King Charles III, where they discussed the active role of young people in shaping the future, the importance of supporting and empowering them, and providing an environment that fosters their creativity and leadership skills globally. His Highness affirmed that the Trust is a leading platform for empowering young people through effective programmes and partnerships with countries, opening doors of opportunity for them to develop their skills and turn them into tangible achievements.
