His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the 120 km endurance race of the Asian Equestrian Championships, held in Pattaya, Thailand. Attending the race were, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club’s High Committee, Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The race took place over five stages with varied terrain and difficult endurance tests and saw fierce competition until the final stage. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that participating in the Asian Equestrian Championship was positive for the team, especially as it raised their readiness for upcoming events. His Highness praised the race’s high standards and the open competition among participants. His Highness congratulated the top three winners and wished all riders success in upcoming races. The horse Everest La Maggiore did not pass the veterinary examination in the final stage, while Emirati rider Saeed Ahmed Al Harbi took first place, Royal Endurance Team rider Saud Mubarak Sabt took second, and Patanakol from Thailand took third.more

On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the Asian Equestrian Championship is an important milestone for the Royal Team in its regional and international participation. His Highness explained that the Royal Team has been working diligently and continuously to prepare the horses and riders to the highest technical standards, noting the team's aspirations to achieve positive results that enhance Bahrain's presence in international forums and consolidate its honorable history and continuous achievements on the international and global stages. His Highness led the team's final training session, which focused on technical aspects, raising the readiness of the riders and horses, and ensuring that they arrive at the race in the best possible condition, reflecting the team's strategy of comprehensive preparation for major competitions. The Victorious Golf Team, led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, won first place in the ProAm tournament as part of the King Hamad Trophy, organised by the Bahrain Golf Association for the 17th consecutive year at the Royal Golf Club. The Victorious team, consisting of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Luke Joy, Phillip Clough and Soufiane Toudaoui, deservedly won first place with a total of 107 points. His Highness affirmed that the King Hamad Trophy has become one of the most prominent tournaments in the region and the world, attracting the participation of elite professional and amateur players, confirming the Kingdom's position in hosting international sporting events and contributing to enhancing and developing golf. His Highness added that Victorious' first place victory was the result of joint efforts and teamwork, wishing the team continued success and praising the competition and high sportsmanship witnessed during the tournament. Second place went to the team consisting of Ayoub Id-Omar, Waleed Al-Alawi, Tawfeeq Al-Moayyad and Arun Varma, while third place went to the team consisting of Raphael Le Bot, David Bruce, Rodney Masoud and Matt Wadsworth. In the professional singles competition, British professional Tom Sloman won first place with 37 points, French professional Raphael Le Bot came second with 36 points, and American professional Cole Madey came third with 36 points.more
Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the 26th Island Classic Charity Golf Tournament, organised by the American Mission Hospital at the Royal Golf Club, has concluded. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated with the Victorious team on the third day of the tournament, while participating with the Safriya team on the second day. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that His Majesty the King's patronage of the tournament confirms His Majesty's continued support for Bahraini sport in general and golf in particular, which is steadily progressing towards further development and prosperity. His Highness praised the organisational level of the tournament since it began, noting that the wide participation reflects support for charitable and humanitarian initiatives that benefit society, commending the participants’ performance and the outstanding technical level of the tournament. The tournament witnessed wide participation from teams and players from various bodies, amid strong competition and advanced technical skill, reflecting the development of golf in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Victorious team, consisting of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Mike Lorenzo, Mahdi Tadaoui and Soufiane Tadaoui, won first place in the Championship Flight, with a total of 46.2 points. Second place went to the Ministry of Interior team with a total of 48.7 points, and third place went to the Mohammed Jalal team (2) with 51.3 points. First place in the Premier Flight went to the Safriya team, consisting of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Mohammed Mousallam, Soufiane Tadaoui and Mahdi Tadaoui with a total of 47.1 points. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, directed the Bahrain Cycling Association to make optimal preparations for organizing the fifth edition of His Highness's Cycling Tour for Amateurs, which will be held from November 5 to 8, in cooperation with Faalyat Company. His Highness affirmed that the cycling tour aims to make sport a way of life in Bahraini society, which has a significant positive impact on public health and quality of life, and enhances youth participation in competitive sports activities. His Highness explained that the tour is an important element in promoting a cycling culture and plays a prominent role in highlighting the Kingdom of Bahrain's tourist attractions, especially as it passes through a number of the Kingdom's governorates, in addition to encouraging amateurs, citizens, GCC nationals, and residents to practice sports and discover new talents. His Highness pointed out that the previous four editions of the tour have been a remarkable success in terms of participation and open competition among all. Caballo De Mar, the horse owned by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee for the Victorious Forever team, won first place at the Paris Longchamp racecourse over a distance of 4,000 metres, winning the Qatar Prix du Cadran for the second race of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Group 1. On the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that this victory reflects the high standing that Bahraini equestrian sports have achieved on the international stage and embodies the result of continuous work and the ambitious vision to raise Bahrain’s flag in global events. His Highness praised the efforts of jockey Tom Marquand and trainer George Scott, as well as their tireless work in preparing the horse to achieve this well-deserved victory in one of the most important Group 1 races in Europe. The Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was crowned the winner of the Rushford Endurance 120-km race held in the United Kingdom, in the presence of the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee and member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad secured first place after successfully completing the four stages of the race amid widespread participation from riders. On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that winning first place in the race is a great motivation for the team ahead of its important upcoming championships, stressing the determination to highlight the status of Bahraini endurance in international forums. His Highness also affirmed achieving many goals during this participation, as the riders gained more exposure and experience, which will contribute to raising their technical abilities in future participations. His Highness beat Abdullah Al Bastaki from the United Arab Emirates, who came in second, while Singh from the MRM team came in third. The event of the 50 km track was attended by several sports officials in Bahrain. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad highlighted that the launch of the cycling track is one of the strategic steps by the Kingdom to promote sports as a lifestyle. The initiative aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to enhance quality of life and ensure citizens' health and well being. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad also commended the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for its comprehensive development plans, including encouraging sports as a key element of a healthy lifestyle. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that the track is a significant addition to Bahrain’s sports achievements. It is the first of its kind in the country and the longest in distance, strategically located near key areas, making it an ideal destination for cyclists. The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) honoured His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, for his global accomplishments as the only Arab rider to achieve such distinction in international endurance racing. The recognition marks HH Shaikh Nasserbin Hamad’s consecutive victories in the FEI Endurance World Championships, including his latest win in September in Monpazier, France, over a 160km course, and the 2022 championship held in Bou Thib, UAE. The FEI also acknowledged HH Shaikh Nasserbin Hamad's ongoing contributions to the sport and his pivotal role in advancing endurance racing globally.
