His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation affirmed that the Foundation has been carrying out its humanitarian mission for 25 years, embodying the vision and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Foundation. His Highness praised the royal care afforded to orphans in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is reflected in providing comprehensive care and empowering and preparing them to face various circumstances and challenges.

On the occasion of Arab Orphan Day, which falls on the first Friday of April, His Highness stated that the Foundation is committed to implementing His Majesty the King’s vision in various fields, particularly in humanitarian work and the care and empowerment of orphans, especially Bahraini youth, through quality initiatives and programs that foster exemplary national role models who support the Kingdom’s development.

His Highness praised the ongoing support the Foundation receives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the pioneering steps taken by the government to support the Foundation’s efforts and initiatives, as well as the coordinated efforts of ministries and government agencies in facilitating procedures for the Foundation’s beneficiaries and providing them with the necessary support.

His Highness noted that this year’s Arab Orphan Day coincides with the Foundation’s 25th anniversary. His Highness expressed pride in the Foundation’s children who have become honorable national role models actively contributing in various fields, and hold leadership and professional positions, reflecting the success of the Foundation’s approach to investing in national talent.

His Highness expressed thanks and appreciation to all community organizations and individuals for supporting orphan care initiatives and the Foundation’s programs, which promotes solidarity, compassion, and social responsibility in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
