The Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives Team (Sheyam Al Khair) led by Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, participated in preparing more than 400 Iftar meals at the Foundation's Netaj Khair Al Bahrain headquarters, as part of the ‘Iftar Saem’ initiative organised by Netaj.

Her Highness also participated in preparing the Iftar table for the residents of one of the shelters and had Iftar with them, reflecting social solidarity and compassion during the holy month of Ramadan.

Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also presented gifts to the children at the shelter to bring them joy and share the Ramadan spirit with them, which reflects humanitarian concern for children and families in such circumstances.

The event was attended by Eng. Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, and the voluntary humanitarian initiatives team.
