On the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the World’s celebration of World Humanitarian Day which falls on August 19th, under the slogan “Working for Humanity”, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that this occasion embodies the values of giving and solidarity with affected people around the world, and reflects the importance of the role played by humanitarian workers as the last line of defense for human dignity and life.

His Highness added that thanks to the wise vision and patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain has become a leading model in humanitarian work, as the Royal Humanitarian Foundation recorded high figures in terms of aid and extending bridges of goodness and generosity to various countries.

His Highness noted that the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, is an incentive for all employees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation to continue their charitable work and carry out their humanitarian duties.

His Highness affirmed that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation has been and continues to be faithful to its responsibilities and mission to work for the benefit of humanity through local and international development projects, in addition to humanitarian and relief initiatives in various countries.
