Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, attended the Royal Guard Commander's Parade as part of ongoing monitoring of readiness and discipline levels. The parade was attended by Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Operations, Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Noaimi, Deputy Royal Guard Commander, senior officers, non-commissioned officers and Royal Guard members. The parade was held at the Square of Fallen Serviceman Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al-Noaimi in Al Rawdha Camp, where the Royal Guard Commander's Parade is held twice a year as part of comprehensive follow-up plans. At the beginning of the event, the Commander's Salute was played, then the parade commander requested permission from His Highness the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander to inspect the parade, during which His Highness reviewed the level of readiness and discipline, then the military parade began, reflecting the high level of competence of the Royal Guard members. His Highness affirmed that the continuous development witnessed by the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force is thanks to Allah the Almighty, and the royal support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. His Highness also praised the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, and the guidance of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, which contributed to a qualitative shift in the level of military training and qualification, thereby enhancing military capabilities and raising field and administrative efficiency. The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports held its regular meeting chaired by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and council members. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad opened the meeting with a speech, in which he praised the outstanding efforts made by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad in ensuring the success of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which were held in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Highness noted that the Games enhanced Bahrain's sporting and regional standing, and highlighted Bahraini youth's role in sports participation at the continental and international levels. The Minister explained that the strategy focuses on developing media discourse and building the professional capacities of young people, in addition to enhancing their media presence locally and internationally, organising events and festivals, and supporting media entrepreneurship, to develop the national economy and create sustainable job opportunities. The Supreme Council supported this strategy, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad directed the Ministry of Information to implement it and monitor performance indicators in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the desired results are achieved. As part of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports' efforts to promote the participation of Bahraini youth in various fields, the meeting reviewed the latest developments related to the formation of youth empowerment committees in the public and private sectors, where Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, presented the authorities that established youth committees, which include the Ministries of Works, Health and Information, the Civil Service Bureau, the Labour Fund "Tamkeen", the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Bahrain Development Bank, Bapco Energies, Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, and the Nasser Center for Science and Technology. The Minister of Youth Affairs, affirmed that youth empowerment committees are a platform for engaging Bahraini youth in developing the work environment and promoting institutional innovation, reflecting the vision of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in empowering the new generation and giving them with the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and initiatives. She added that these committees improve the quality of services and enhance institutional performance, in line with the national objectives of building young competencies capable of creativity and achieving a tangible positive impact on society. Dr Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, reviewed the efforts of the Youth Innovation and Excellence Committee at the Ministry, which was formed by Ministerial Decision 37 of 2025 dated November 23. The Minister explained that the committee aims to empower young people to actively participate in developing the work environment and promoting initiative and innovation, involving them in the decision-making process, in addition to building their capacities through training and continuous professional development programmes. She also noted the "Daem Al Shabab" (Youth Support) initiative for institutional accreditation, which awards an official label to entities that meet the criteria, reflecting their commitment to their responsibility towards young people and enhancing their institutional image. For his part, the Minister of Information, reviewed the ministry's efforts in establishing the Youth Innovation and Excellence Committee, highlighting the main areas of the Committee's work, which include developing training programmes, providing media support, organising public events, in addition to creating initiatives aimed at fostering a stimulating work environment for young people. The Minister also announced the launch of the Committee's ‘Creators Hub’ club for young influencers, which aims to promote youth participation in creating influential media content and supporting national discourse in an innovative youth language, thereby highlighting their media capabilities and innovations to the local and regional community. Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander won first place in the 6th Royal Bahraini Air Force Golf Tournament (Individual category), which was held at Al Suqoor Golf Course at the Royal Bahraini Air Force's Isa Air Base, with wide participation from players and an exceptional sporting atmosphere. The participants competed to complete 18 holes, with His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad achieving first place in the gross scoring. Khalifa Al Marisi come second, Nasser Yaqoob third, and Khalifa Al Kaabi fourth. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad praised the efforts made by the Royal Bahraini Air Force in organising the tournament, affirming that it enhances communication among the members of the military and the sporting community. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, attended the National Day Endurance Cup, which was held as part of the National Day Endurance Ride Championship, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation at Bahrain International Village, with wide participation from riders and stables. The race was attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the National Day Endurance Ride Championship, is an honourable example of Bahraini sports and strengthens the Kingdom's presence on the regional and international endurance sports map, thanks to the support of the leadership. His Highness added that endurance sport in the Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing continuous development and achievements, as a result of institutional work and continuous support for riders and technical and organisational cadres. His Highness affirmed that the high levels achieved by Bahraini riders reflect the efforts made in preparing and qualifying them according to the highest standards. His Highness praised the high standards of the championship and the wide participation in the various races, congratulating the first place winners. The race witnessed fierce competition and high technical standards over a distance of 120 km among the riders, and was characterised by strength from the first stage to the last. At the end of the race, the winners of the National Day Endurance Cup were crowned in a festive atmosphere that reflected the joy of achievement. Team Victorious deservedly won the top three places after outstanding performances throughout the race, with Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa crowned champion. His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad gave outstanding performances in the competitions. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad affirmed that the Spartan Sports Festival is a unique model for competitive sporting events, which build a promising generation for the future. His Highness pointed out that the participation of young people in the festival reinforces the values of discipline, teamwork and positive challenge, as it represents an important educational experience and allows them to experience the atmosphere of sports competition first-hand and instils a love of sports as a way of life.
