HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa International Endurance Cup will be held on March 18 -19 at the Bahrain International Endurance Village. His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) Honorary Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa will patronise the event. The organising committees have stepped preparations for the races following directives from BREEF Chairman HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad praised BREEF-led efforts to ensure the success of the endurance cup, expectining the final races of the season to be very competitive, with jockeys and stables vying for trophies. He commended companies and enterprises that sponsor the championship, hailing their role in support the sectors of sports and youth, particularly endurance events.more
Bahrain Victorious cyclist Pello Bilbao won the third stage of the Tour Itzulia Basque which was held in the Basque province in Spain as part of the World Championship series. His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his delight at the achievement. He praised the Bahrain Victorious’ victories which, he said, reflect the teams standing, potential and steady progress in its external cycling competitions. He said that the team includes talented cyclists with great potential, hailed the squad’s outstanding efforts and keenness to implement the instructions of the technical staff and follow the plan set in continuing to win the first places. Cordoba CF has continued achieving positive results under its Bahraini leadership, defeating Cacereño 5-0 in the 11th week of the Spanish League's second division. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, expressed happiness at this new victory in the Spanish competitions in light of the support the team is receiving from its Bahraini presidency who has been keen towards providing an ideal environment for the players and technical staff to flourish. HH Shaikh Nasser pointed out that Cordoba CF is moving steadily towards achieving the preset goals, affirming his keenness to continue providing the necessary support to the team in the coming period in order to meet the desired goals. Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who was accompanied by his two sons, paid a visit to Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2021. The event, which will continue until October 3, is being held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa toured the hunting weapons pavilions and sections and got informed about the latest technologies in this respect. He also listened to a detailed briefing on the exhibition and its goals. In a statement marking the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the distinguished level of the exhibition and the content of its pavilions. He stressed that ADIHEX has contributed to boosting the status of the UAE, being one of the outstanding exhibitions at the international level. He added that the event is an assertion of the UAE’s keenness to preserve the heritage related to falcons and their hunting and the equestrian. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE in preserving heritage through joint programmes. During the meeting, HH Shaikh Nasser hailed the unique results achieved by Damiano Caruso, who finished second in the Giro d'Italia tour. Moreover, HH Shaikh Nasser stressed that Damiano is among the pillars of Team Bahrain Victorious thanks to his enormous capabilities and performances. Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser expressed appreciation for the prominent efforts exerted by the team's cyclists and technical staff, thanks to which it achieved great results.
