His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed Bahrain’s sports strides, paying tribute to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his support. He said that the string of achievements in the prosperous era of HM the King have ensured the Kingdom of Bahrain an advanced rank on all levels, highlighting football victories in particular. He congratulated Riffa Club on winning HM the King’s Football Cup after beating Al Ahli in the final which was held today at Bahrain National Stadium. He praised Riffa Club board, chaired by Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, commending the efforts of the players, technical and administrative staff. He praised the fairplay and performance of the both teams’ players, which reflected the positive image and the level that football attained in Bahrain. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised Bahrain Football Association (BFA), chaired by Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for the good organization which ensured the success of the cup final.more
The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to host the District 20 Toastmasters Annual Conference (DTAC 2021) on May 28 and 29. Held under the patronage of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the event with bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait under the slogan “Together Towards the Future”. It embodies deep-rooted fraternal ties binding both countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Amir of Kuwait, HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah. Considered the greatest event in toastmasters, the conference will attract 147 Arabic and English-speaking clubs. Being patronized by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, it reflects his unwavering keenness to supported the gifted and people interested in the arts of leadership and toastmasters in Arabic and English. The conference Chairman, Eng. Yasser Al Gashar, expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for patronizing the conference. He noted that more than 1000 male and female participants from Bahrain and Kuwait will take part, pointing out that the organising committee is keen on its success. District 20 Director, Mohammed Salim, commended HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s patronage of the event and his support to the youth, describing that as an incentive for all participants to excel and stand out. The winner of the first place will represent the district in the conference which will be held in the USA this year.more
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the landmark achievement of the UAE Hope Probe, which succeeded in reaching its Mars orbit. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also extended congratulations to UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. “We feel proud that the UAE was the first to reach the red planet this year”, said, hailed the scientific achievement achieved which the wide-ranging development experienced by the United Arab Emirates in various fields. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid tribute to the UAE leadership, hailing its keenness on reaching space and exploring the red planet and achieving further scientific milestones. “The phases that the Hope Probe went through and the great capabilities provided to the project in order to overcome all challenges confirm the amazing development of the United Arab Emirates in its journey towards the conquest of space”, he said. He hailed the great determination and political will which made this project successful to serve lofty goals for humanity by exploring the properties of Mars, which will contribute to enriching scientists' knowledge of the red planet.more
National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, stressed his keenness to support national competencies in the Royal Guard. He expressed appreciation of the remarkable efforts made by First Lieutenant Fares Noureddine who is the youngest orthopedic surgeon to obtain the board and graduated from the Orthopedics Saudi Bard Programme 2020. He commended the achievement, stressing the Royal Guard’ keenness to support its affiliates. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also emphasised the Royal Guard’s approach of supporting Bahraini youngsters, pointing out that the achievement brought about by First Lieutenant Fares Noureddine will contribute to further upgrading the therapeutic sports system.more
Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has stressed that the Commemoration Day, launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to be celebrated in conjunction with the kingdom’s National Days, is a national occasion to pay homage to the martyrs of duty who sacrificed their life for the sake of the nation. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the decision of HM the King to observe the Commemoration Day on December 17, the anniversary of his accession to the throne, as an act of gratitude to the martyrs of duty who sacrificed their life to protect their homeland as well as the security and stability of their brethren in the Arabian Gulf. HH paid tribute to the fallen servicemen who sacrificed their life in defending the nation and its stability and security. He said their heroism will remain carved in the national memory and the Kingdom of Bahrain will always remain loyal to their blood. He added that the martyrs of duty drew with their blood a real epic in the history of the nation by defending the right and set a wonderful example in sacrifice and self-denial so that the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain remains high.more
HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Honorary President of the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa thanked HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for following the Al-Anjal race, as part of the National Day Endurance Championship. The Batelco-sponsored event was held at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, in the presence of Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) Vice Chairman, SCYS Coordination, Implementation and Follow-up Committee Head HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and BREEF Chairman HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed HM the King’s care for the endurance sport and support to budding promising riders, adding that the race had achieved its goals. “We are keen to encourage children to participate in endurance races, because we have a future vision to continue to thrive in the sport of endurance”, he said. He said that the 120-kilometre-long National Day race would be thrilling amid competition between all stables and riders, hailing the success and large participation which marked previous races. He commended Batelco for sponsoring the National Day Championship, praising the initiative of the company to support the annual event. He also commended Manarat Al-Bahrain for providing cash prizes HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa crowned, in the presence of BREEF Chairman HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa, all 30 participants in the “Al Anjal” race, starting with HH Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, HH Shaikha Shaima bint Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. The 120-kilometre-long four-stage National Day international race will start tomorrow morning at 06:00 am. It will be aired live on Bahrain Sports Channel. more
