His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the landmark achievement of the UAE Hope Probe, which succeeded in reaching its Mars orbit. 

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also extended congratulations to UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“We feel proud that the UAE was the first to reach the red planet this year”, said, hailed the scientific achievement achieved which the wide-ranging development experienced by the United Arab Emirates in various fields.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid tribute to the UAE leadership, hailing its keenness on reaching space and exploring the red planet and achieving further scientific milestones.

“The phases that the Hope Probe went through and the great capabilities provided to the project in order to overcome all challenges confirm the amazing development of the United Arab Emirates in its journey towards the conquest of space”, he said.

He hailed the great determination and political will which made  this project successful to serve lofty goals for humanity by exploring the properties of Mars, which will  contribute to enriching scientists' knowledge of the red planet.
