Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa unveiled a plan by RCO to carry out a series of long and short-term strategic projects in Bahrain and abroad. The announcement was made as he chaired the organisation’s Board of Trustees periodic meeting. He extended heartfelt thanks and respect to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RCO Honorary President, for his unflinching support to charity and humanitarian work and for his continuous care for the orphans, widows and needy people in Bahrain. He also praised the royal humanitarian initiatives towards affected people in brotherly and friendly countries. HH Shaikh Nasser hailed the tremendous support accorded to RCO by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. He also praised the unwavering support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. An edict allowing Bahrainis aged 18 to 21 to establish commercial companies and exercise trade activities has come into force. The move is base on results of a study, jointly conducted by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Ministry Youth and Sports Affairs. His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa hailed royal directives to empower youth in all fields, particularly the trade sector. He stressed the importance of the new edict which, he said, would emable Bahraini young people to build a better future by establishing trade projects and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which represent an integral part of the national economy. His highlighted the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to facilitate the entry of Bahraini young people into the labour market and establish trade companies. He commended the efforts exerted by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani and the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayyed. The edict stipulates the regulations allowing minors and people aged 18 to set up trade companies. It represents the fruit yielded by the 2018 Youth Summit, which was one of the initiatives of the national programme to develop the youth and sports sectors.more
Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the tremendous support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RCO Honorary President, to charity and humanitarian work in Bahrain. He stressed the royal initiatives in various fields, lauding HM the King’s directives to provide care for Bahraini citizens and promote their welfare. HH Shaikh Nasser was speaking during the 8th mass wedding which was organised by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work for 1000 brides and bridegrooms. The celebration, held at the University of Bahrain, is considered the biggest ever organised and sponsored by the foundation in Bahrain. It was attended by the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Sayed and Director General of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work Mohammed Khouri. HH Shaikh Nasser hailed distinguished fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE, praising the efforts of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work to support Bahraini youth. He pointed out that organising the mega ceremony reflects solid historical fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries. He expressed heartfelt good wishes to the new weds, wishing them a happy life. The UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan hailed HH Shaikh Nasser’s patronage of the 8th mass wedding which was held today by RCO in cooperation with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work at the University of Bahrain Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall. He also praised the generous support given by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work to Bahraini youth who are going to tie the nuptial knot. He stressed distinguished ties binding both countries and the great care given by the leaderships to the youth. On his part, the RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Sayed extended heartfelt thanks and respect to HM the King for his support to charity and humanitarian work. He also extended thanks and gratitude to the UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support to the celebration through the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work.
