His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s royal order designating this year as the “Year of Isa Al Kabeer” in celebration of the founder of the modern state and leader of the institutional development in the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Highness Isa Al Kabeer, Ruler of Bahrain and its Dependencies, and in commemoration of his life and significant national role.

His Highness affirmed that this royal initiative embodies His Majesty the King's profound vision of preserving the national memory and consolidating the values of loyalty and gratitude to the great men of Bahrain who contributed with sincerity and wisdom to laying the foundations of the modern state, establishing political and social stability, and enhancing Bahrain's cultural and humanitarian standing.

His Highness noted that the national and humanitarian legacy of His Highness Isa Al Kabeer is a source of inspiration for generations and a fundamental pillar for promoting a culture of giving, humanitarian work and community service. His Highness emphasised that the national initiatives associated with this year will enhance awareness of Bahrain's rich history and strengthen belonging and pride in the national identity.

His Highness expressed his pride and appreciation for this royal initiative and prayed to Allah the Almighty to preserve the Kingdom of Bahrain's security, stability and prosperity, and guide its leadership to continue the process of construction and progress.
