HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad attends closing of technology summit at Bayan Schoolالترجمة
Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Bahrain Bayan School concluded the first edition of its Tech Summit. The theme of the summit centers on preserving Bahraini identity in the digital age and the role of education in this regard.
The closing ceremony was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasised that supporting quality educational initiatives aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on investing in Bahraini youth. His Highness noted that the students’ innovative projects presented at the event showcased their awareness of how technology can be used to preserve national identity and Bahraini values.
The summit was inaugurated by Dr. Shaikha May bint Sulaiman Al Otaibi, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Bayan School. The event included panel discussions featuring public and private sector officials, a technology exhibition, and student-led projects in artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, animation, and digital applications.
Dr. Shaikha May bint Sulaiman expressed her appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for his patronage and support of educational initiatives. She expressed pride in the summit’s success in promoting collaboration between the school, families, and the local community in advancing educational innovation rooted in national identity.
She also thanked all participating students, parents, teachers, and guests for their contributions, and commended the speakers for enriching discussions with forward-looking ideas on digital-age education.
