HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad attends Bahraini Youth Day ceremonyالترجمة

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), attended the annual ceremony organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs to mark Bahraini Youth Day, observed annually on March 25.

The ceremony was held in the presence of ministers, senior officials, and Bahraini youth contributing to the Kingdom’s development.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad began by touring the "Exceptional Volunteer" exhibition, which highlighted the contributions of Bahraini youth in various voluntary sectors.

A documentary was then presented showcasing the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the youth sector and the role of Bahraini youth in advancing national progress.  This was followed by a poetry recital by Sabika Al Shehhi, titled Strength and Determination.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad honoured 25 participants recognised under the "Exceptional Volunteer" initiative and presented awards to the winners of the commemorative stamp design competition.  Hessa Ghazi secured first place, followed by Dalal Bumatia in second and Marwan Abdulla in third.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad received a commemorative gift featuring the special edition stamp issued for the occasion.

Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, delivered a speech during the ceremony in which she emphasised the ongoing support of HM the King for Bahraini youth, and His Majesty’s directives to empower them as future leaders.

She also highlighted the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in creating opportunities for young people and enhancing their participation in national initiatives.

The Minister underscored the commitment of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad to supporting youth and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.  She commended the achievements of Bahraini youth and their contributions to the Kingdom’s development.
