Nasser bin Hamad: The ‘Try To Work’ programme enhances young people's experiences and reflects community partnershipالترجمة

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, affirmed that the “Try To Work” Programme is a unique initiative that consolidates community partnership and enhances the practical experience of Bahraini youth, which contributes to preparing a qualified generation capable of competing in the labour market.

This came during His Highness’s reception of the students participating in the fourth edition of the ‘Try To Work’ programme organised by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of its community partnership initiatives. Present were, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyad, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, Sameer Abdullah Nass, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, members of the Board of Directors, along with representatives of supporting entities.

During the meeting, His Highness praised the programme's tangible results in empowering young people and providing them with practical experience, emphasising that the initiative is a pioneering model of integration between educational institutions and the private sector, and a key supporter of the role of young people in national development.

His Highness noted the need to continue launching similar initiatives that broaden horizons for students to gain field experience and instill in them the values of commitment, discipline and teamwork. His Highness pointed out that the Bahraini youth are the cornerstone of development and the foundation for building the country’s future.
