HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad hails HM the King’s support
The International World Endurance Championship for Junior and Young Riders will kick-start tomorrow – Wednesday, in Pisa, Italy. Five riders from the Royal Endurance Team will be at the starting line, along the UAE competitors, holders of the previous championship, in addition to one rider from Oman, two from Saudi Arabia.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the keenness of the Royal Endurance Team to participate in all major international championships.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing royal support to sportsmen to shine in international events and honour the Kingdom of Bahrain in all arenas. He commended the achievements of the Royal Endurance Team in past participations, stressing their readiness to shine and attain a better performance to reflect the progress of the endurance sport in Bahrain.
He stress the importance of the International World Endurance Championship for Junior and Young Riders, which represents an opportunity for Bahraini participants to gain experience. He hailed the outstanding organization of the International World Endurance Championship for Junior and Young Riders, expecting competition between the participating teams.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, accompanied by Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) Vice President and Royal Bahrain Endurance Federation (BREEF) chairman HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al-Khalifa, toured the site of the championship and witnessed preparations for the championship.
H Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa met the Royal Endurance Team riders between the vet tests and encourage them to shine and achieve good results to reflect the development of endurance sport in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Dubai Racing and Yas Channel aired interviews with H Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who stressed the importance of the International World Endurance Championship for Junior and Young Riders and the competition between Bahrain and UAE participants, highlighting the preparations of the Royal Endurance Team.
