HH Shaikh Nasser hails HM King's keenness for Youth, Sport

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on issuing Decree-Law 42 of 2022, amending some provisions of Amiri Decree 5 of 1983 on amending Amiri Decree 2 of 1975 regarding the establishment of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport.

 

HH Shaikh Nasser said that the decree will contribute to the development of youth and sports fields in the Kingdom.

 

He praised the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

 

The Supreme Council for Youth & Sports thanked HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the government's support to youth and sports in the Kingdom. 

 

The decree promotes the Council's visions and policies that are drawn up by HH Shaikh Nasser to develop the youth and sports action in the country, and continue to reap the achievements in the golden age.

 

The decree confirmed that the Council is concerned with drawing up the general policy of ministries, authorities and institutions related to youth and sports, especially those related to the development of youth and sports affairs.

 

The decree also draws up the policy related to youth relations between Bahrain and other relevant international organizations and bodies, and its participation in International conferences.

 

It also sets a policy for establishing private facilities in the youth and sports sectors and follows up on their implementation, all within the country’s general policy.
