His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, praised the royal address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the inauguration of the fifth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils.

His Highness explained that the royal address reflected His Majesty the King’s wisdom in leading the Kingdom of Bahrain, consolidating its principles and safeguarding its achievements. His Highness noted that the visions and directives contained in the address embody a royal approach that transforms loyalty to historical roots into a driving force for the future, adding that the unity between the leadership and the people is a solid foundation to continue national development.

His Highness affirmed that His Majesty the King’s pride in the resilience, loyalty and solidarity of the people of Bahrain, as they supported the country, embodies the status accorded to the Bahraini people in the royal vision, and affirms that national unity will remain the cornerstone upon which the Kingdom relies in facing challenges and shaping the future.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed pride in the royal directive designating the coming year as the “Year of Isa bin Salman”, in commemoration of the legacy of Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, may Allah bless his soul. His Highness emphasised that the directive carries exceptional historical and national significance and embodies His Majesty the King’s loyalty to a leader whose name is linked to building the modern Bahraini state and consolidating its sovereignty and standing.

His Highness noted that the “Year of Isa bin Salman” is a national opportunity to teach this legacy to future generations, and to draw inspiration from the values of loyalty and generosity upon which the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development was founded, emphasising that the legacy of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, will remain a source of pride and honour, and an incentive to continue the march of development and progress and to preserve the nation’s achievements and gains.

His Highness explained that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, will remain true to its history, proud of its symbols, and, driven by the determination of its people, will move towards a more advanced and prosperous future, praying to Allah Almighty to protect His Majesty and maintain the Kingdom’s security and stability.
