His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team participated in the Qatar International 160 km Endurance Race, which saw a number of riders compete. Present were, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Qatar. 

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa met with Shaikh Nawaf bin Nasser Al Thani, Board member of the Qatari Businessmen Association and owner of Al Nasser Stables. His Highness also received a commemorative gift from Shaikh Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Endurance Racing Club.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed the Royal Endurance Team’s commitment to participating in the Qatar International Endurance Race as part of its approved programme, and to fulfilling the necessary qualifying requirements for the upcoming World Endurance Championship, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates.

His Highness noted that such participations enhance the readiness of the Royal Endurance Team’s riders and horses, and assess their technical levels ahead of upcoming events. His Highness pointed out that the team positively benefitted from this participation, and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the race’s organising committee and its commitment to creating the ideal atmosphere for all participants.
