Sheema bint Nasser and Mohammed bin Nasser win the 100 and 120km racesالترجمة
The children of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, achieved outstanding results at the Samorin International Endurance Race held in Slovakia.
Her Highness Shaikha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa won first place in the 100km international race for the junior and youth category, while His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa won first place in the 120km international race for the junior and youth category.
His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s horse failed to pass the veterinary examination in the 120km international race for the open category after the third stage.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also participated in the 160km international race but was unable to finish due to an injury.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasised that participating in the Samorin International Race had been a positive experience and achieved many of the objectives set by the team as part of its preparatory programme. His Highness noted that the riders’ results reflected the volume of work carried out over the past period and represented an important step in their preparations for upcoming events, foremost among which is the World Junior and Senior Endurance Championships to be held next year, alongside continuing to build their experience in international competitions.
His Highness praised the outstanding performances of the Royal Endurance Team’s riders and commended their high spirits and great dedication throughout the race. His Highness emphasised that these results reflect the advanced standing of Bahraini endurance, wishing all riders success in upcoming championships and continued achievements.
