His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, participated in the 29th Lalla Meryem Cup, held at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in the Kingdom of Morocco.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa met with His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and held cordial talks on the Lalla Meryem Cup which coincided with the 50th Hassan II Golf Trophy.

His Highness led a team comprising Hamad Al Marrisi, Moulay Abdellah Benzidane and Italian professional Anna Zanusso. The team finished third in the tournament’s gross-8 in the PRO-AM category.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the Lalla Meryem Cup succeeded in establishing itself as one of the premier tournaments in golf, praising the high standard witnessed during the competition and the distinguished international attendance.

His Highness expressed his appreciation for the considerable efforts made by the organising committee and their commitment to ensuring the tournament was organised according to the highest standards.

His Highness’s participation in the tournament reflects his interest in golf and his commitment to attending sporting events to enhance sporting engagement, the exchange of expertise, and strengthen ties among athletes from around the world.
