A telephone call was held between Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council and Tassos Tsezonis, National Security Advisor of Cyprus.

During the call, the latest developments in the region regarding Iran’s hostile attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and brotherly and friendly countries were reviewed. Both sides reiterated their condemnation of these attacks and the ongoing escalation, which violate state sovereignty and international laws and norms.

The call also affirmed the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus and their development across various fields. The two sides also discussed ways to further develop partnerships and bilateral cooperation to serve mutual interests.
