His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, directed the organisation of the second edition of the Al Fursan Sports Tournament during the holy month of Ramadan in 2026, following the great success and positive impact of the first edition, which generated significant sporting and social momentum during the holy month of Ramadan.

On the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad affirmed that the success of the first edition was a strong incentive to move forward with its development, to become a well-established sports platform that enjoys the trust of young people, athletes and sports federations.

His Highness stated: "The first edition of the tournament was a proud example of community sports initiatives. It succeeded in attracting young people, highlighting their talents, and promoting positive competition in a distinguished Ramadan atmosphere." His Highness explained that this directive stems from the belief in the importance of sustaining success and transforming outstanding initiatives into permanent milestones in the Bahraini sporting calendar.

His Highness noted that the tournament discovers more promising talent in various sports, and supports sports federations in building a strong base of athletes.
