Bahraini camels owned by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, achieved outstanding results at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival 2026, held in the Saudi capital Riyadh under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

“Sayaf” and “Azoum” won first place in the second and third rounds of the festival.

The first victory was made by “Sayaf” in the second round, while “Azoum” took first place in the third round, amid widespread participation from elite gulf camels.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad praised the outstanding results achieved by Bahraini camels at the festival, affirming that it reflects the great efforts, continuous work and high level of preparation, and embodies the advanced status that Bahraini participations reached in camel racing at the Gulf level.

His Highness also praised the festival, affirming that it is a leading platform for competition and plays a pivotal role in developing camel racing and strengthening its presence in Gulf events. His Highness noted that the high level of professionalism and organization of the competitions reflect the vast experience and significant interest in camel racing and affirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to ensure the success of major heritage events in accordance with the highest standards.
