Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, received Brigadier Nicholas Wight-Boycott, Commander of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, in the United Kingdom, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and a number of officials from the British Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, His Highness expressed appreciation for the prominent role played by the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in training and qualifying military leaders, affirming the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness to continue strengthening cooperation with the United Kingdom in various areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also discussed aspects of joint cooperation and ways to enhance it, particularly in military training and qualification and the exchange of expertise, to support common interests and strengthen relations between the two friendly countries.
