Nasser bin Hamad participates in Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Endurance Cupالترجمة
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, participated in the 100 km International Endurance Race, as part of the His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup, held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation.
His Highness’s participation was followed by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s participation confirms his continued support of endurance racing, and his keenness to be present at national and international championships.
His Highness affirmed that endurance racing is one of the cornerstones of Bahraini equestrian sports, as these races enhance the values of challenge and discipline. His Highness noted that His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s support of the championship has contributed to creating a qualitative shift in endurance racing and increased the competitiveness of Bahraini riders and their ability to excel regionally and internationally.
His Highness praised the wide participation in the championship, affirming that this large turnout reflects the prestigious status of endurance racing. His Highness wished success to the riders participating in the private stables race, which will be held on Saturday.
The championship programme concludes on Saturday with the 120 km Private Stables Race for the His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup, amid widespread anticipation for fierce competition between elite stables and riders.
