Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, attended and patronized the meeting of the members of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Adviser and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and all members of the General Secretariat.
During the meeting, His Highness delivered a speech in which he reviewed the most notable achievements of 2025, which includes developing work mechanisms and enhancing coordination and institutional readiness to meet the requirements of the next stage, and keeps pace with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, which confirms that national security represents a fundamental pillar of stability and development, and a shared responsibility that requires the highest levels of readiness and integration among national entities. His Highness praised the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
His Highness stressed the importance of the General Secretariat’s role in consolidating the foundations of the national security system, noting that national responsibility requires continuing to harness all capabilities and means to keep pace with challenges and changes, to ensure the sustainability of national gains. His Highness praised the commitment and high professionalism shown by the members of the General Secretariat, stressing the importance of working as a team and building on what has been achieved, in line with the wise vision of His Majesty the King to strengthen the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pillars of security, stability and prosperity.
