Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received a US Congress delegation, led by Representative James Moylan, in the presence of Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau.

During the meeting, His Highness affirmed the importance of the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, stressing the need to continue developing bilateral cooperation in various fields to achieve common interests and support security and stability in the region.

They also discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, and reviewed regional and international developments, in addition to opportunities for enhancing cooperation in various fields in the coming period.

For their part, the delegation expressed their appreciation for the strength of relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming their keenness to enhance joint coordination and support efforts aimed at expanding cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both sides.
