Nasser bin Hamad attends veterinary examination for Asian Equestrian Championships in Thailandالترجمة
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, attended the veterinary examination for the Asian Equestrian Championships to be held in Pattaya, Thailand.
Also present were His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club High Committee and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Highness will lead the Royal Endurance Team in the 120-kilometre race with the horse Everest La Maggiore, with whom he won the World Championship held in France last year.
On the occasion, His Highness affirmed that the Asian Equestrian Championship is an important milestone for the Royal Team in its regional and international participation.
His Highness explained that the Royal Team has been working diligently and continuously to prepare the horses and riders to the highest technical standards, noting the team's aspirations to achieve positive results that enhance Bahrain's presence in international forums and consolidate its honorable history and continuous achievements on the international and global stages.
His Highness led the team's final training session, which focused on technical aspects, raising the readiness of the riders and horses, and ensuring that they arrive at the race in the best possible condition, reflecting the team's strategy of comprehensive preparation for major competitions.
The Royal Endurance Team, led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa will participate in the 120-kilometre race, along with riders Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Mohammed Al Hashimi, and Saud Mubarak Sabt.
