His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, affirmed that the patronage and continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, constitute the solid foundation upon which the national achievement process is carried out in various fields, especially in youth and sports, which are witnessing a golden age of development and growth under the insightful royal vision and continuous guidance of the leadership.

His Highness stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain's recent remarkable success in hosting the 3rd Asian Youth Games is a shining example of national institutional work based on integrated efforts under the effective leadership and tireless work of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, whose direct follow-up and keen supervision contributed to the success of this major continental event.

This came during His Highness's reception of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and members of the Supreme Organising Committee and Executive Committee of the 3rd Asian Youth Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, senior officials.

During the meeting, His Highness affirmed that the efforts made by the Supreme Organising Committee, the Executive Committee and the volunteers embody the spirit of belonging and generosity of the people of Bahrain, and reflect the Kingdom's national capabilities to host major sporting events in accordance with the highest international standards.

His Highness expressed pride in the impressive performances of Bahraini athletes, which resulted in winning numerous medals, and praised the outstanding cooperation among all parties, that consolidated the Kingdom's position as a regional and international destination for major events
