His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, praised the Ministry of Works' initiative to establish a Youth Innovation and Excellence Committee, affirming that it is a pioneering step in line with the strategic plan for youth empowerment in the public and private sectors, issued by His Highness.

His Highness commended the efforts exerted by the Ministry to invest in young people's energies and involve them in developing the work environment and promoting a culture of innovation and institutional excellence, calling on various government and private entities to follow suit, to serve the national goals of empowering young talents.

The committee aims to provide a stimulating work environment for young people by launching initiatives and development projects, building capacities through ongoing training and professional programmes, in addition to opening direct channels of communication between leaderships and young cadres, to enhance their competencies and document their successes locally and internationally.
