The National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander,  Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the outgoing United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Steven Craig Bondy, in the presence of the Deputy National Security Advisor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa.

His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States have historical relations and a distinguished strategic partnership, which spans decades of joint cooperation and coordination to serve common goals and interests.

His Highness praised the efforts exerted by the US Ambassador in enhancing and developing relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, His Highness reviewed with the US Ambassador a number of topics of common interest.
